Background

PRISMA CYLINDERS ENGRAVING S.A. was founded in 1980 in Athens, initially to serve the conversion industry with chemically engraved rotogravure cylinders.

Over the last few years, PRISMA CYLINDERS ENGRAVING S.A. has been constantly evolving by investing in machinery of the latest technology including copper– and chrome-plating and in cylinder engraving. This is in addition to other investments to maximize product quality

 PRISMA CYLINDERS ENGRAVING S.A. deals with clients in Greece, Eastern and Western Europe, and the Middle East, including companies like BARILLA, BIC, DMK, HARIBO, NESTLE, among others.

 PRISMA CYLINDERS ENGRAVING S.A. already covers a large part of the Greek market and has a strong presence in the Balkan countries in general and is in the process of forging ties with Western Europe.

  • Prepress

    At PRISMA CYLINDERS ENGRAVING S.A. we have developed a modern Prepress Department, staffed with rotogravure printing experts who have all the necessary skills to achieve the best possible result for our clientele.

    The Prepress department’s hardware and software are the latest word in technology and are constantly updated and upgraded to make them compatible to any system that clients and associates may use.

  • Steel Cylinder Bases

    Aware of our clientele’s requirements for prompt service, PRISMA has an exclusive collaboration with the largest cylinder manufacturer in Greece as well as dealings with another manufacturer only a three-hour drive away.

    For ever greater flexibility and security however, PRISMA has decided to invest in the creation of a new facility that meets its needs for rotogravure steel cylinder bases. This facility is equipped with high-precision CNC lathes that produce excellent results on the cylinder surface and high precision in dimensions.

  • Production

    During the production phase, the cylinder is copper-plated by means of electrolysis and then immediately conveyed to the copper polishing machines, where the final dimensions are given based on the client’s instructions and the final finishing of the surface is performed.
